The IM Media Server platform successfully tested for VXML 2.1 certification

Rome, December 5, 2016: Interactive Media today announced that VXML_NG 7.2.6, the VXML interpreter part of IM Media Server, the VoiceXML platform used for its Conversational and Multimodal IVR Solutions, successfully passed conformance testing of VoiceXML Forum Platform Certification Program for VoiceXML 2.1, getting the award of a VoiceXML Forum Certified Platform. The VoiceXML Forum, an industry organization whose mission is to support proliferation of VoiceXML implementation and adoption to promote interoperability within the industry, certified the IM implementation of VoiceXML 2.1 standard through testing by Surgent Networks, an independent thirdparty compliance consultant. The certification of IVR (interactive voice response) platforms as VoiceXML 2.1 compliant helps enterprises to choose the right investment in an IVR platform.

VoiceXML Forum Chairman Dr. Mark A. Randolph Named Speech Luminary by Speech Technology Magazine

VoiceXML Forum Publishes Runtime Data Logging Specification for Public Comment

NEW YORK, SPEECHTEK 2007, Aug. 20, 2007 — Today at the SpeechTEK 2007 Conference and Exhibition, the VoiceXML Forum announced the publication of the Session Log Annotation Markup Language (SLAML) specification. The new draft specification describes a methodology for collecting, storing and retrieving runtime data for speech-based services and will help make data-analysis and service-tuning tools platform-independent. The SLAML specification was developed by the VoiceXML Forum Tools Committee’s Data Logging Working Group and is available for download at www.voicexml.org/datalogging. The VoiceXML Forum is encouraging its members and the industry at large to review the specification documents and provide feedback. Comments may be e-mailed to DL voicexml.org. The comment period closes on Nov. 9.

VoiceXML Forum Launches VoiceXML 2.1 Platform Certification Program

PISCATAWAY, N.J., Jun. 19, 2007 — Today, the VoiceXML Forum, a global industry organization chartered to promote and to accelerate the adoption of VoiceXML-based applications, announced major enhancements to its Platform Certification Program. A pilot program, open to VoiceXML Forum members who have previously certified their platforms, will begin in June and will include certification testing for VoiceXML 2.1, SISR 1.0 and key features of other languages in the W3C Speech Interface Framework. The announcement was made in support of today’s announcement by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) that VoiceXML 2.1 and SISR 1.0 have been published as Web standards.
